L0pht	These are the guys to watch.  Perhaps the best group of hackers around.
Phrack	Read & learn.  Route has been doing a phantastic job.  Now if he could just get it out more often...  Go write an article for it.
Defcon	A great con.  Go to Black Hat too, if you can afford it.
2600	The classic hacker paper mag.
Kevin Mitnick	I don't have to explain this, do I?  Go get him out of jail.
Kevin Poulsen	You've gotta give him style points.  Writes some good articles for Cyber Crime, too.
Bruce Schneier	Listen to Bruce speak if you get the chance.  He's made the last two Defcons.  Go buy his book and learn your crypto.
Thomas H. Ptacek	Beautiful IDS research.
Randal L. Schwartz	Perl master.  He appears as a special case in the Geek Code.  Being prosecuted by Intel.
